So I have a friend in the UK, who has requested not to be named because he doesn’t want the attention (fair), who’s active in UK politics. He sort of stumbled accidentally into being a voice in the Labour Party.


I just got this news from him:

Guess who at least used to be a member of the Labour Party and is NOT going to be happy about this. But it’s already party policy, so there’s nothing she can do except die mad about it.


Mazel tov to my trans friends in the UK!!! I hope this will help ease what you’re going through.


(As a sidenote: you know how I’m always saying “if you don’t like the current political options, get involved”? My friend is a member of a tiny chapter of a small constituency, nowhere near London. He literally did it because nobody else wanted to and thought he might make some small difference in his local area. HE JUST SET NATIONAL PARTY POLICY. So I repeat: if you don’t like your options, BECOME ONE!!!)
